 Coates Engineering have recently helped support a charity event to raise money for the people of Uganda by providing rainwater harvesting systems to over 100 homes.
The systems will also provide horticultural training to all the recipients of the rainwater harvesting systems. We would like to wish Drip Uganda all the best for the future and Coates Engineering were glad to help with this invaluable project.
 The 23rd Annual bike ride of 64 miles from Manchester to Blackpool
On Sunday 12th July 2009 a group of employees from Coates Engineering took on the challenge of taking part in the 23rd Annual bike ride of 64 miles from Manchester to Blackpool. The ride started at Old Trafford and finished at the Mirror ball at the South Promenade.
Congratulations Rick Holt, Paul Burton, Craig Rhodes Richard Coyne and Chris Trivett on all completing the challenge and raising over £1000 for Christies which will help with their quest to transform cancer services for more than 40,000 patients every year.
 Coates Engineering take part in the Bupa Great Manchester 10k Run
On the 17th May 2009 a team of 11 of us from Coates Engineering ran the Bupa Great Manchester 10k Run. Everyone achieved their own personal goals with times ranging from just under an hour to an hour and half.
The event was started by Russell Watson and had amazing support all the way round from families, friends, the general public and all the different charities.
In all we have managed to raise £1,700.00 for the Alzheimers Society, Diabetes and Cancer Research UK.
We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us and we will keep you up to date about what charity event/s we will be taking part in next year.

Coates Engineering have raised £55 for Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing something pink for a day. We would like to thank everyone supporting a very worthwhile cause.
Coates Engineering have sponsored a class at Britannia Community Primary School in Bacup with a programme for keeping our children safe on the roads. The kidsafe campaign sends a board game to the school which teaches them all the dangers of crossing roads and how to avoid them. We hope the school and its pupils will benefit from this programme now and in the future.

secured a 3 year contract to supply high quality plant to
an enrichment company in Deutschland.

Golf Day - Rochdale Golf Club
On the 15th August 2008 Coates Engineering held their annual golf day at Rochdale Golf Club for their customers.
The day was a huge success and enjoyed by all who attended. We would like to thank everyone for their time and congratulate all the winners.
